Angel:   Can you tell me a bit about yourself ?

Dominka:   I'm Dominka Budzynska, born in 1993. I'm from Poland. I'm ALWAYS SMILING and outgoing photo model on a wheelchair that does not in any way interfere with me developing my passions and making my own dreams come true. I love to do the make-up and then take pictures of girls wearing the make-up that I've done. Photography and styling are my other passion, second to photo modelling. I'm happily in love with an amazing man. My life is absolutely fantastic. I have phenomenal friends and an awesome family. I constantly keep on rediscovering my passion, and it just does not allow me to stay still. I have a lot of dreams, and some of them have come true already, but there's still a lot to come. Currently I'm dreaming about trips to some beautiful parts of the world. I love traveling. I also dream about having many photographic sessions. I would love to be someone who's world-famous, as I love to be the apple of everyone's eye. I value people who live their lives to the fullest, just as I do. I'm not looking for limits in possibilities, but for the possibilities within the limits! I use the wheelchair to move around, but I'm ready for everything and prepared for all.
Angel:   How long have you been a wheelchair user?
Dominka:   Since I was 10. I used to be able to walk normally, so I know well how it is to be fully physically able.
Angel:   When did you decide to be a Model?
Dominka:   I wanted to be a model as far back as I remember. I love posing for pictures, I feel comfortable with my body and I accept it fully.
Angel:   Do you remember what your first shoot felt like?
Dominka:   My first shoot was when I was 14 years old. It was a new and thrilling experience back then. I haven't started professionally by any means, but things progressively become more and more pro, from one shoot to another. There has been an article published on me recently in the Polish edition of "Glamour" magazine, what I consider to be a great achievement of mine. It's a great fun and pleasure for me and these are my dreams coming true.
Angel:   Do you think disabled models has a place within the modelling world industry?
Dominka:   I think it's really difficult to be a disabled model here, in Poland, I'd even go as far as to say it's near impossible. There was one case of a girl who achieved a lot - fashion shows, magazine covers. I think it's much more easy to be a model abroad. Unfortunately, here, in Poland, disabled people are automatically considered as not attractive sexually, or even as asexual (laughing). I have no idea who made it all up, but definitely they were in the wrong. There are different cases, there are girls, on wheelchairs, who take more care of their appearance than fully, physically able girls. One example of this is me, as I take as much care of my body and appearance as it's only possible.
Angel:   What would you say your style of dressing is?
Dominka:   My dressing style is generally smart and jazzy. Regardless of the weather, my mood or whether the occasion is special or not, I always wear very high heels in bright colours. It's a crucial thing to me!
Angel:   Do you have a message for any body with a disability who would like to model?
Dominka:   I know that there are girls in Poland using wheelchairs, who would also love to be models, but I don't have contact with them. I often watch models with a disability on international websites, or in the newspapers. I'd love to achieve what they did one day.
Angel:   Thanks for tellus about yourself Dominka!
Dominka:   Thank YOU VERY MUCH! :)
