As the main patron of The Advance Centre, the Countess Sondes be attending. Caroline Rush, the CEO of the British Fashion Council, will attend the event as our special guest, which opens Curves in Couture

The British Fashion Council is proudly committed to promoting equal opportunities and diversity within the fashion industry. We are delighted that Models of Diversity are producing a Curves in Couture catwalk show and encourage all to support the event and the images that will come from the show.

The Diversity show will feature an array of healthy professional models of different sizes, shapes, heights, colours and ability levels. Models featured will be modeling a range of different retail lines as well as showcasing some independent designers. The show will be themed and will have a unique twist to it and will give insight to and epitomise what 'Models of Diversity' is all about.

This show will be all about pushing boundaries, Innovation and creativity whilst still fitting in with the current trend!

Featuring in the Diversity Show will be Kelly Knox, winner of the BBC's Britain's Missing Top Model. And closing the show will be a suprise celebrity strutting their stuff and representing for diversity.

Following this will be a high-fashion show, with top international curvy plus models found through a nation-wide casting call, in sizes 14-18. The models will wear couture, from both up & coming designers and established design houses such as Carolyn de la Drapiere and Jill Alexander, who will be premiering her Spring 2012 collection at the show.

We have 2 special celebrity guests and some fabulous entertainment planned. In addition to local press, The Dish Network, the 2nd largest cable company in North America, will broadcast the event to over 16 million homes. All proceeds from the show benefit The Advance Centre.

Following the show will be a star-studded After Party at the exclusive Queensberry Club South Kensington starting at 10pm. Luigi Consoli has donated The Queensbury Club for the event, which maintains the concept that one would expect of a private members club in the Royal Borough but with a modern twist.

Models of Diversity is a London-based non-profit organization which advocates for more diversity in models, and demands that the fashion and marketing industries recognise the beauty in women and men of all races, ages, shapes, sizes, abilities, genders and sexual orientations. Our mission is to change the face of fashion and modelling! We are a campaign founded to stand for equal rights and opportunities within the modelling and fashion industry. MoD has joined with Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone for the government's campaign on body confidence.

The Advance Centre is a teaching institute for parents with brain-damaged children. From its creation in 1996, the charity has dedicated itself to finding a way to not only advance the abilities of children with cerebral palsy and other brain injuries, but to actually reverse the structural and functional abnormalities.
