On 12th June 2023, with the support of the British Fashion Council, MOD celebrated alternative ideals of beauty by holding a positive, revolutionary Catwalk show promoting inclusivity, empowerment and self-love on the London Fashion Week schedule at the iconic Freemasons Hall.
The show was presented by RuPauls Drag Race UK finalist and recording artist Vanity Milan, and featured top models, actresses and influencers including super model Kelly Knox, influencer and reality tv stars Queen Mojo and Fatima Simbo, ex model Jilly Johnson and actresses Melissa Johns and Francine Lewis who showcased fashion from designers including award winning designer and activist Victoria Jenkins from Unhidden, who launches her own TV show later this month, new designer Amor Emel and celebrity favorite Liquorice.
Each designer expressed their desire to showcase more diversity and rocked the catwalk with clothing to suit EVERYbody. Open Bionics launched a new design of their ‘Hero Arm’ in a LFW catwalk first.
The show ended with a standing ovation from an audience which included Jo Wood, Vanessa Feltz, Lottie Moss and Love Island stars, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Plage.
